I have been working on the web sites quite a lot lately so I am leaving the house a little later these days.
I did not leave until about 8:30 am this morning to make my first appointment, a commercial lease inspection. Had to verify that some software was installed on a computer system
Thirty minutes on site. Fee $40
I had a pretty big route planned for the day and decided to do what I call a “Far End Route”. This means that I just drive to the inspection address that is the farthest from my home, and work my way back. That way, if I do not finish all the inspections in one day, I can finish them up easier because they all will be closer to the house than the ones I did finish.
I started at Dauphin Island. One of my favorite places that brings back a lot of memories. I spent a lot of time on the island when I was in my early teens. I sunk my first boat at Dauphin Island. Yes, I said the first.
I’m getting in late, so I will not have much to say tonight. For the highlights:
44 inspections at $7.50 = $330
2 inspections at $5 + $10
Total for the day $380
My camera has 97 pictures on it so the day is not quite done. I will have to say though, that at times I feel like I have the easy part of the business. Now, the pictures will have to be uploaded and my paper results will have to be uploaded to the company web sites. As they say, the job is not finished until the paper work is done.
See ya’ll tomorrow.
