I will have to admit that I have it good. Even when things slow down around here, I am scheduled to do just enough work to get me out of the office and out of everyone’s way! What I don’t think they realize sometimes is that suits me perfectly fine!
I started with three insurance loss inspections followed by twenty-two occupancy inspections and then finished with yet another insurance loss inspection. I was gone about four hours. I made a couple of stops looking for used books and found a fairly decent Volume 1 of The Hardy Boys. By the way, I have picked up an extra $336.52 so far this month from book sales.Â
I have quite a few pictures to get labeled and transferred to the proper directories so I’m going to go for now. The ignition sequence for today is: (3•25)+(22•6.50)+(1•15)

We are all close to being able to look at 2006 with hindsite. Most business owners will soon have some figures to look at that helps with decisions to be made for 2007.
I have talked with field service business owners around the country the last week or two and all but a very few are looking forward to record-busting numbers in 2007. I can include myself with those that see spectacular opportunities for the field service organizations.
If I may, I would like to point you to a few articles of interest and see if you see the same picture I do. I will let this be the end of my post for today – I will just furnish you with links to some stories and say that if you are ready to make something happen in your business, it looks like 2007 will be the year.
The Rep Report Newsletter will continue to publish pertinent links to additional stories.

I probably will not report any more this month on the number of field requests coming in. Today another 356 from one company, 93 from another, and just a handful of requests from the smaller companies.
I was only able to complete forty-eight inspections today since I worked the rural areas in the south part of the county. Lots and lots of initial inspections were on the route. As I said yesterday, there seems to be no slackening in default notices or proceedings this month.
If you have purchased and read my e-book, you should remember “When the economy is good, this business is good. When the economy is bad, this business is great! “ I have always found this statement correct. Looks like the economy is going bad – or is it just because people are buying Christmas gifts instead of paying their bills?
I am including a few pictures I took for you today. The first picture is whats left of a sheet of plywood that was covering the back door of a utility room at the rear door of a house I inspect every couple of weeks. As you can see, the lock and hasp are still holding.
Â
The picture below is of the back door after entry was gained through the utility room. The door jamb is busted up too bad for the door to close or lock.

And if one is going to go to all this trouble to get into a vacant house, it only makes since to set fire to something and knock a few holes in the sheetrock.
