Medical Site Reviewers Needed

September 27th, 2007 → 11:15 pm @

It has been an awesome week.  I’ve had to do my regular work plus three Initial Secure Orders.  As I said a while back, my mortgage inspection business has fallen off a bunch so I have taken more property preservation work to replace the lost income.

I will probably not be able to update the blog much until next week.

I was asked to help a company find some reps in the following cities:

  • Monroe LA
  • Ruston LA
  • Shreveport LA
  • Nashville TN
  • Greenville MS
  • Alexandria LA
  • Jonesboro AR
  • Little Rock AR
  • Paducah KY
  • Bowling Green KY
  • Hopkinsville KY
  • Owensboro KY

The work, as I understand it, involves completing a thirty-two question form at medical facilities.  Pay is $45 each.  If you are interested, e-mail me and I will send you the contact info.

I will be on the road through the weekend but I will have the laptop.  E-mail or call if you need me.

Finally, Some Good News

September 13th, 2007 → 9:27 pm @

Well, well, well. Finally. Some good news.

I got an e-mail a couple of days back from a guy out west that I had helped get started in the business. I had some time this evening so I gave him a call. He’s excited about how well he has done. It’s not right for me too talk to much but I can say that his cash flow for August is ten times what it was in May when he started. Pretty good, huh?

Maybe that’s where a lot of my work has gone!

More good news. I marked one person off the snake oil list. There were actually two messages on my machine when I got in today. I gave him a call and we talked for a long while this evening. He has plans to help you and I have plans to help you so hopefully you will reap some benefits from he and I working together on some training projects. This is going to be a little down the road however. I have to finish some current training projects and he needs to clear some time also.
I was reminded today of some of the conversations I have had with others this year. Conversations that included invitations to visit, inquiries into attending such-and-such convention, this seminar and that seminar. The weather today reminded me of those conversations – the part of the conversation when I tell the other person that Vickie and I do not go out of town during hurricane season.

I may just be a scaredy-cat but it’s something we just don’t do any more if we can help it. We learned our lesson several years back when we took to the high ground while evacuating for a hurricane. We couldn’t get back for nine days! We were much worse off than if we had stayed home.

So what reminded me of those conversations. The weather. I have never seen that much rain before except during hurricanes. Now, you know I’m not going to rush around running a route as fast as I can anyway. But it’s also true that I seldom perform as poorly as I did today. Ten inspections. Wow. Talk about the big bucks!

I left the house with two routes planned out. The morning route was sixteen property inspections and ended at a friend’s house. He and I had already planned on attending a luncheon today and I offered to drive. In and out of the rain all day, pulling over until I could see again, and all that stuff. You know what I mean. I was able to finish only ten before arriving at his house.

The original intent of course was to get all sixteen done before getting to his house. Then I was supposed to drop him off and do the second route of twenty-two property inspections and one insurance loss inspection. Well, if I thought the rain was bad in the early part of the day, I was in for a real surprise. After dropping my friend off, I spent about the next three hours finding places to get out of the weather. I finally gave up using the dangerous driving conditions as my excuse. My total for the day – ten.

See. I told you you was going to get rich doing this!

Well that’s it. Yea, I know it was kind of a blah day and a blah blog but again, this is the real thing. See ya tomorrow.

Subscriptions To This Blog

September 10th, 2007 → 7:01 am @

A reader, Bob, sent a comment about being unable to find a way to subscribe to this blog. His comment made me realize that it may be time to add some additional features to the blog. I would appreciate comments from anyone with an interest in subscribing to the blog.

My answer to his inquiry follows:

Hi Bob,

Well, the problem you are having finding the subscription information is because there is none.

I have been putting off including a subscription option because I really do not know which would be best.

There are many options I can consider. There are many choices. Blog subscriptions now consist of:

* Email announcements
* Email alerts of new posts or activity
* Email monitoring of comments on the blog
* Email monitoring of comments on a specific post
* Email newsletter subscriptions
* Submission to social bookmarking site submission services
* Full site feed
* Site comments feed
* Category feeds

Please e-mail me with the choice(s) you think would be best for you and my thanks for bringing this to the forefront once again. It’s time for me to do something!

P.S. This is pretty important to me so I am going to use this response as a regular post in the blog. I would like to hear from everyone that has an interest in subscribing to the blog.
