Schulman Inc.:</strong>   <strong>Andreas Gunther </strong>was appointed human resources director, Europe, and <strong>Oliver Neuss</strong>, business unit director for engineered plastics and <strong>Thomas Korlin</strong>, director for business development and product marketing for the Europe, Middle East, Africa region for the international supplier of high-performance plastic compounds and resins headquartered in Akron.  </p>
<p> <strong>American Lung Association of the Midland States:</strong>   Missia Vaselaney was elected to the board of directors. Vaselaney is a partner with the law firm Taft Stettinius  Hollister LLP.  </p>
<p> <strong>BBCM Engineering Inc.:Brian Sears was promoted to project engineer, and Edwin Porter II to staff engineering technician in the Valley View office for the civil engineering company.</strong>  </p>
<p> <strong>Conservancy for Cuyahoga Valley National Park:</strong>   Ralph Davila was named director of public relations and marketing.  </p>
<p> <strong>Casnet:</strong>   <strong>Jeff Comer </strong>was named chief technology officer of the Akron provider of information management solutions and business process outsourcing.  </p>
<p> <strong>Cleveland Foundation:</strong>   <strong>Kara Keating Copeland</strong> was appointed program officer. Copeland will assist the foundation&#8217;s board of directors in its grantmaking decisions, working with grantees and evaluating their requests.  </p>
<p> <strong>Fund for Our Economic Future:</strong>   <strong>Emily Garr </strong>was named manager of research, grants, and evaluation. The fund is a collaboration of foundations, organizations and philanthropists from across Northeast Ohio that strengthens the region&#8217;s economic competitiveness through grantmaking, public engagement and research.  </p>

<p> <strong>Geauga County Historical Society:</strong>   Elizabeth Wantz was appointed curator for the Century Village Museum, a replication of an 1800s Western Reserve settlement, in Burton.  </p>

<p> <strong>Home Team Marketing:</strong>   Randy Newell was hired as an account executive in the Cleveland office. The company customizes regional and national marketing programs for companies and brands targeting high school sports.  </p>
<p> <strong>MedCity Media:</strong>   <strong>Merrill Brown </strong>and <strong>Andie Rhyins </strong>were named to the board of directors for the Cleveland company, which provides digital health-care content. Brown is founder and principal of MMB Media LLC in New York. Rhyins is principal of her own consulting firm, Growth Acceleration Strategies in California.  </p>
<p> <strong>Nager Romaine  Schneiberg Co. LPA:</strong>   <strong>Michael Liner </strong>joined the law firm&#8217;s Cleveland office as an associate practicing Social Security disability and employment law.  </p>

<p> <strong>Safeguard Properties:</strong>   Apryl Seide was appointed general counsel, <strong>Michael Greenbaum</strong>,<strong> </strong>was appointed vice president, REO, <strong>Jennifer Anspach</strong>, director of finance and accounting, and <strong>Russ Klein</strong>, director of quality control for the Valley View privately held mortgage field services company. REO stands for real estate owned, an industry term for post-foreclosure properties in which ownership has transferred to a lender or investor.  </p>
